The Zoo

Here are some not-so-great pictures of my trip to the Fort Worth Zoo on wednesday with Cindy, Allison and Mommy.
We saw elephants, monkeys, kangaroos, zebras and lots more!

Wagon Rides and Baby Sister Update

Lately we have been spending lots of time in the back yard. The weather has been very nice. As you know I really like my sand table. So much so that I pulled my new chair up, propped up my feet and played away. Good times!

I have also been enjoying wagon rides around the back yard from Mommy and Daddy. See the action shot with me and Daddy? So fun! Mommy isn't so active these days (as you can see) but I'll give her a break until Baby Sister comes.

Speaking of Baby Sister, I realized recently that I will soon be sharing my blog with her so I thought I'd give a little update:

Mommy is 28 weeks along and everything is going very well. We don't have a name picked out yet. Mommy and Daddy are still searching. I think they should just let me name her. I can think of several great names: Buzz Lightyear, Lightening McQueen, Strawberry Shortcake, or Cinderella... Just to name a few...

Anyway, we have some time to decide. More updates to come! We are getting excited!

Goal for the next few days:

Eat outside as much as possible. Can you imagine why???

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today I made some colored celery with mom. We are working on learning colors. Tomorrow we should have red and blue celery. We felt it necessary to sing the Veggietales theme song while doing this activity. "Broccoli... celery... gotta be...." Ya know...
And I'm sporting my pink plaid and GREEN John Deere tractor shirt for St. Patrick's Day!

Braids

I worked on my braiding skills today. With another girl on the way, I'm thinking this will come in handy. The only bad part, it makes her look so grown up!!!!! :(

Mom and Dad threw a party on Saturday.
This was the table cover that my friends got to color on.

Maw-maw helped me decorate a flower cookie.

Miss Allison came and we had "Chickafa" nuggets

Then my mom sent me home with Grandma Susie and Pops.
We have no pictures of them.
The successfully avoided the camera.
But they took me to the bakery on the way to Houston.
Cookies.
mmmmmm....

I think "Two" will be a fun year.
I'll get a new baby sister this year!

Snow Days Part Deux

More Snow Day Activities:

It was way better on Friday because we got about 5 inches of snow!

We were glad to see snow this year, but we are even happier that it is all finally melting!
Hello Sunshine!

Snow Days!

Here's what we do at the Morrow House on Snow Days:

We bring the water table inside and have a tea party

We drink lots of fluids to stay hydrated

Make a princess tutu to play in

Play in the snow (mostly ice)

Do a little winter gardening

Have Daddy pull me around on a trash can lid (sled)

Throw a few temper tantrums
And pray pray pray for the pipes not to freeze and thank the Lord for warmth!
