End of the school year!

These two little butterflies flew into the last day of school with lots of excitement.!
On Tuesday the kiddos performed a little music program.
It's a real shame these two are so shy on stage....Ha!
Amazingly, they were placed on the same side of the stage and we were sitting on that side of the auditorium.  Evie got to sing a solo line in one of the songs.  She was super proud and she did a really good job.
Thursday was bounce house fun day.  The kids had jump houses and a concession stand.  Evie thought the concession stand was the coolest thing ever! (because they got to "buy" all the candy that mom never lets them get at the store...)
'
Olivia participated in the festivities also in the baby room where I was helping sub.
And now, we're ready to zoom into vacation!
Beep Beep! Out of my way!

Where is May going??

Hey Guys!  Guess what!  I'm 7 months old today!!! Wahoo!!
Olivia is sitting up on her own.  She is doing much better in the carseat.  She can find her thumb and hold her white blankie and be content for a while.  Thank goodness!
She does not sleep through the night.  Mommy is hoping that this changes in the very near future. And, she cut her very first tooth today! Let the sweet toothy grins begin!
Mother's Day 2015
I am one blessed (and sleepy) Mama!
What a pretty bouquet of little daisies!
Blue Bubblegum ball = Blue mouth and teeth
Donuts with Dad
Sitting on the porch...waiting for the storm to roll in...
At least the older two sleep...
...even if it means a hand in the face.

It's May!

Around here lately...
We had sports fan day at school.  Clearly, only Olivia made a good choice that day.
Mike explaining the complicated strategy behind Hungy, Hungry Hippo to Evie.
Ice Cream and playground time at McDonalds
Everyone enjoying the exer-saucer we borrowed for Olivia.
Basking under a beautiful blue sky on our very spontaneous trip to Balmorhea State Park
 Practicing her sitting skills
Daddy and his girls taking a stroll around the pool.
We had quite a fun time at the park.  The girls were real dramatic about swimming in the spring-fed pool with all the fish.
Then Mavery announced that she wanted to jump off the diving board.  So we walked over to the low spring board and she states, "No, I want to jump off THAT diving board", pointing to the 12 foot high diving board that goes into 25 ft. water.  Oh. Yea. Sure.
So, I made her jump off the little one first.
Counting it off with Daddy.

Then she climbed her little self up the high-dive
(telling me the whole time, "Mommy, I can do it ALL. BY. MYSELF!!")
and after some encouragement from everyone at the pool and a few countdowns, there she went...
(and mommy almost lost her lunch....)
She's our little dare-devil for sure!
Very fun times with these two drama-queens
