The Older Sister

 Evie has been teaching Mavery some, uh, life lessons lately.

The other day, I walked into this scene/conversation.  

Mavery was sitting on the potty, first thing in the morning.  Evie was standing next to her telling her the following:

"Mavery, your birthday is coming soon and you will be three years old.  After three, you will turn four, and after four you will be five...(and so on and so on)...and then you turn 20 and then you die."

I wondered if I should intervene at this point, but since  (a still very sleepy) Mavery was staring blankly at Evie, I left well enough alone.

What will they come up with next???

Pre-K Graduation

Evie had her pre-K graduation two weeks ago.  The class did a little singing performance and then they received their very own Bible from the teachers.

4 Birthday Parties in 3 Weeks...

Back in April, we attended 4 birthday parties in 3 weeks.  It was crazy fun.  I didn't get pictures of all the parties, but here's what we came up with...

Kaylee's birthday party had face painting and pony rides!

Then we went to Alden's birthday party.  It was a Frozen swimming party.  Very fun for the kids. Very exhausting for the parents!  

We sure do miss these special friends!
