One Year Old!!

Mavery Lynn is one year old! And she is walking. She made her major walking debut at her birthday party Saturday. It was really cute. We had strawberry short cakes with whipped cream. Very fun!
Evie and Mavery are really starting to "play" together more. It's so cute to watch them. For the most part, they really love each other.
So, we officially have a toddler and a preschooler. Which means we have very little downtime. Good times at the Morrows!

We enjoyed a lovely sunset on the front porch the other night. It just doesn't get much better than this!

The Zoo

We are now proud members of the Cameron Park Zoo. What a fun day!
Mavery enjoyed strolling and munching on goldfish crackers. Evie enjoyed reading the map and seeing most of the animals.

Eleven Months Old

Miss Mavery is a mess. That's just about all I can say. She is not walking yet but she is "furniture walking" and doing good with Mr. Lion the walker.
She thinks it's really funny to crawl under the end table and sometimes she sits under there and drinks her bottle. Silly Girl!
We are getting excited about celebrating her first birthday next month. I'm thinking she will take her first steps before she turns one. Yikes!

Around here lately...

I have been trying to get some shots of the girls together. I am usually not successful.
Mavery discovered the sand table. She gets mad every time I take her away for eating the sand.
Evie discovered the toy store ads when we were using old newspaper to pack boxes Saturday morning. It kept her quite entertained.
Evie and mavery like to wrestle. Surprisingly, Mavery can hold her own.
And the last pic is of evie playing on her friend Abigail's trampoline.

Crazy Hair Day

It was Evie's last day at preschool today and it just happened to be crazy hair day. We had fun putting it up in braids this morning. Mavery wasn't so patient with us. I guess she wanted crazy hair too!

Now why wouldn't Mavery want to ride around in the dolly stroller or the shopping cart?? I've gotta keep my eye on these two. What's scary is that mavery looks like she's having a blast in both the stroller and cart. Good Times! Good Times!

Nine Months Old

Our Little Dumpling is nine months old. She's funny and quick and she's got four sharp little teeth. She's not walking but she uses everything to pull up to a standing position, even her big sister! Mavery likes drinking juice and eating cheese, goldfish crackers, bread, fruit, and anything that we are eating. She has started babbling "dadada" and it's super cute. I'm ready for her to say "Mamama!"

A Sunny Day

Since it was 80+ degrees today, Mavery and I did some playing in the back yard. Here's what she thought of it:
