Family Vacation
Well, I've had a great close to the summer hanging out with family and going to see family.
We spent some time in New Hampshire to see Cousin Drake...
and Cousin Stuart.
I love picking berries fresh from the bush.
I don't really like putting them in the carton.
I like to put them in my MOUTH!
Check out all the berries that I didn't pick.
What is my mom looking at?
Oh, YUM! Berry Cobbler!
We sure had fun spending time with the whole gang.
Worked on my vocals.
Dined with Aunt Amanda, Cousin Drake and Stuart.
I guess this table is more my size, huh?

Saw some sheep on the farm.
The sheep says "baa baa"
What? We're all holding hands, Dad.
Sweet Smile
"Cheeeesy" Smile
Playing with my telephone pull toy.
Art Class! Wow, I look intense.
As always, I had Pops and Grandma Susie thinking I'm a perfect little angel.
Mwahaha!
Tea for Two, Please.
Sweet Abigail. We missed you while we were gone.
Ok, If you've made it this far, here are some of the funny things Little Miss Evie is doing:
She loves to say, "bite, bite, a bite?". So she now gets a bite of everything We're eating or doing. Even when I put on lotion or hand sanitizer, "bite, a bite?" So she gets a tiny bit on her hands, too.
She says, "K" to everything. Instead of "O.K.", it's "K".
Her other favorite word is "Open", but it comes out, "Oh-Pee". It's so cute when she says it and brings me a toy or whatever to "Oh-peee".
She gives sweet hugs and says "awwww" and kisses that say "mmmm".
We just love her and watching her learn. Thanks for reading!

Lake Time
I took mommy and daddy to visit some friends - my daddy's good buddies from college. I think he lived with these guys or something but they're really goofy together, a lot of fun too. Take a look.
Here's daddy climbing in the boat. I think he needs a life jacket on.

New Dress, Spaghetti and Cousin Drake
I made Evie a dress. It involved some "troubleshooting".
This was the "inspiration". A $2.00 shirt I picked up for her a while ago.
It looked easy enough to copy. This is what I ended up with. It doesn't really fit her and I had to rig up the straps to get them to fit over her head. But it was a fun little project.

Miss Priss in her dress.
(She's really learning to cheese it up for the camera)

What can I say?
We're working on "sitting like a lady".

Sweet Cousin Drake.
I love it when babies sleep like this.
It almost says, "I give in. Sleep!"

She was diggin' the spaghetti. Can ya tell?

All ready for Sunday School.

Mommy Day Care
I've been staying home with my Mom for the past couple of months. She has me on a pretty rigorous routine:
We have Art Class.

Followed by Financial Planning.
On this day I practiced "Saving for College".

I'm pretty good at getting the coins in the Giraffe's Belly.
Quarters are the easiest!

Then Gym Class with Mr. Lion.

And finally, Science Class.
Here I am exploring the back porch.

I discovered a hole. Let me put my finger in it to make sure.

Maybe we should add some water.

When I have a question, I raise my hand.
Like this:

And I sit perfectly quiet and still just like this while Mommy is teaching.

Do ya believe it?
Good, you shouldn't!
Because the truth is that I squirm and get into everything from the cabinets to the dishwasher to the trash and the toilet and everything in between. My favorite thing to do these days is to squeeeeeze my way between Mommy and the counter when she's washing dishes or cooking and stand on her feet. She LOVES it! And the best is when Daddy comes home and we get to wrestle on the floor and laugh and giggle.
