Six Months Old - Olivia

Olivia turned six months old on Sunday.  She is getting quite the little personality.  She is very active and alert.  She loves to watch her older sisters play and sing to her.  She weighed 15.11 lbs at her appointment and she falls into the 25th percentile for length and weight.  Olivia is learning to love baby food, but it's still a little slow.  She is starting to take an interest in her puffs, but her older sisters are more interested in them and I have to keep them from sampling all the baby food.
She is almost sitting on her own, but she still needs a bit of assistance.  She sleeps all night about 2-3 times a week.  She does really well with her morning nap, but she is not at all crazy about her afternoon nap, the one she needs the most!
Happy 1/2 birthday Olivia Gail Morrow!  You are growing up way too fast!

Baby Dedication - Olivia

Thank you friends and family for joining us for Olivia's baby dedication. Below is our promise to Olivia, as well as Evie and Mavery, to raise these girls according to God's Word.
Letters from Daddy:
(Olivia, I'm sorry that these may be difficult to read.  And I'm sorry about the food stains on the letters.  That's because your older sisters spilled goldfish crackers on them in the car.  Consider it their contribution to your baby dedication.  They love you!)

Evie decided to make herself useful and help Mrs. Larissa serve beverages.
We were happy to have the Parks attend the dedication service.
 Sweet Alden
We had a great weekend and were so blessed by friends and family who were able to attend the service for encouragement and support.

Enjoying April

We went to feed the ducks.  Mavery made a nice pile of crumbs for the pigeons.  She looks very determined to feed the birds.
 Pretty girl
 Crib time with Olivia
Just about ready for the big girl stroller.  She rode in it to go get the mail today and did much better than in the rear-facing infant carrier.
Making mud pies on the porch.  Good clean messy fun!

The Friendship Rock...and more

We've been enjoying the warmer temperatures here in Odessa.  The past few days, the girls have been "meeting their friends on the rock after school".  There is a large rock outside of the church office and the girls meet up with their friends Barrett and Brock to divvy up left-over lunches and snacks and play for a bit.  This works out nicely because we don't have a back yard right now to go home to.  On Wednesday, the boys' mom brought some snacks and candy in Easter eggs and we let the kids have a little egg hunt.  It was fun times.  (until Mavery's meltdown...it had to be someone...)

Here's what happens when I ask Mavery to go get my sunglasses out of my purse.
She finds my lipstick...and I STILL didn't get my sunglasses.

Taking pictures at church.

Reading together at bedtime.
(when they're supposed to be asleep)

The girls had an Easter egg hunt at school on Thursday.  They both came home with a bucket full of candy eggs. I told them that when they got home they could eat as much candy as they wanted, but then the rest went bye-bye.  (that way I don't have to keep track of "one piece of candy a day" for the next three weeks...)
Mavery thought it was the best idea ever!
Cookie!
Yum!
Chocolate!
Starburst!
Tummy Ache!

Evie decided that she wanted to empty her eggs and sort them.
Such the organizer.
(if only she kept her room clean and organized...)

I managed to get a picture of the three of them the other day with all three looking at the camera AND smiling.  It was one rare peaceful moment in our normal day of chaos, fussing, fighting, crying, and "because I said so!!!"
