Farm Day!

Recently, Evie's school took a field trip to the World Hunger Relief Farm.  The children were taken on a little tour of the farm to learn about the animals and how others live in different countries.
First we learned about beekeeping.

Then we learned about the pigs.

Next we got to pet the bunny.

 and then the ducks.

We learned about "Ginger" the goat.

Sweet smile.

Petting the chicken.  The chickens at the farm lay white, brown and green eggs.

The farm also hosts "Farm Day" twice a year and opens up to the public.  We went as a family this past weekend and met our good friends the Grinsteads there.
Evie's dream came true and she got to ride a "pony".

Mavery and Allison found a very fluffy bunny to play with.

Mavery also made friends with the chicken.

...and let's call it a day!
Shew!
I'm done!
