On Thursday we went to treat night at mommy's work. It was really fun. The girls got to dress up, play games and came home with way too much candy.
There are some funny things about this picture above:
- Evie (who chose to be a princess over Buzz Lightyear) is standing like a newly crowned Prom Queen. She looks like she's about to give a teary-eyed speech, thanking everyone for the honor.
- Mavery (bless her heart, I was not about to put her in a costume) can't think about anything except for the dum-dum she finagled from the trick-or-treat pumpkin candy holder. I know what she's thinking in this picture, "Hmmm, I see more candy over there. How can I get to it? Oh wait! I can't because Mom has a death-grip on my arm making me stand here and take a picture next to THE PRINCESS!!!"
- My arm on the left side of the picture shoving Mavery into Evie. If they would just cooperate, I wouldn't have to go to such measures!
