Yup - I'm growing up! Pretty soon I'll be typing these words out myself instead of my parents doing it for me... because you know I'm never at a loss for words.

Mommy and Daddy decided a long long time ago that they would let me and Mavery get our ears pierced when we started asking to do so. Well, I started asking! And asking and asking and asking. Can we go the jewelry store? Can I get earrings? Is that the jewelry store?

So they took me! No tears. I think Mommy and Daddy were more nervous than I was. Take a look at my new earrings:

Hay Day

We got to go out to Aunt Sandy's and Uncle Ron's place in December to enjoy time with family, hot dogs and s'mores! It was a lot of fun. Take a look...

Photo Shoot

We tried... we tried three times... we tried hard to get some 'cute' pictures of the girls in their Christmas dresses for our own keepsake and for that picture perfect Christmas card. HA!

Not happening...

My favorite.

We did a Christmas card this year with pictures of the girls, but after looking at all the shots we got - we felt it too dishonest to send a card with anything that included looking at the camera or smiling or being sweet to each other - because none of that happened. The reality of the picture taking time is more accurately displayed above. Here are the three pictures used for the Christmas card with the message, "May your Christmas Season be filled with fun and excitement and lots of great family photos."
