We tried... we tried three times... we tried hard to get some 'cute' pictures of the girls in their Christmas dresses for our own keepsake and for that picture perfect Christmas card. HA!

We did a Christmas card this year with pictures of the girls, but after looking at all the shots we got - we felt it too dishonest to send a card with anything that included looking at the camera or smiling or being sweet to each other - because none of that happened. The reality of the picture taking time is more accurately displayed above. Here are the three pictures used for the Christmas card with the message, "May your Christmas Season be filled with fun and excitement and lots of great family photos."
There were very few diamonds in the rough.
