Ready for a pony tail? I was playing with her hair today while she was laying on my lap and was surprised at how long it has gotten.

30 Year Old Dress?
These are pictures of Evie sporting one of my old baby dresses. It's her vintage look. I thought it would make some fun pictures, but I had trouble getting her to be still today.

Few Words, More pictures
Starting with last weekend...

Cousin Stuart came for a visit. He helped his Uncle Mike in the Garden.
We had a birthday party for him (Stuart, not Mike). Check out the Bounce House!
...and the kiddie pool for Stuart and Karsyn (and Aunt Amanda)
After a day of partying, we needed a bath

Holiday Hair
Mom had a little too much fun with my hair this morning. I did manage to sleep all night long and for some reason, everyone is much more smiley when I do that. Hmmm...

Rainy Saturday Afternoon
Well, since Mike and Evie are both down for a nap on this lovely rainy afternoon, I decided it would be a good time to put some pictures up. I returned to work last week so I've been slow to post lately. I only went back to work part time. Evie has a fabulous babysitter during the mornings, so things are working out so far.
My little Evie is growing and changing so fast. She is starting to reach out and grab things and she is making so many fun new noises. She is holding her head up so well and loves to be propped up so she can sit up and look around.
We had a bit of a set-back the past couple of weeks with her sleeping patterns. She was sleeping through the night so well and then I guess she hit a growth spurt and decided she needed to wake up a couple of times during the night to eat. But last night she slept from almost 8pm to 6am, so maybe we are back on track.
Enjoy Evie's week in pictures...

and Grandma Shara

I wasn't sure what to think of Pop at first...

But I sure did warm up to him fast. He had me giggling and playing in no time. So FUN!

Having the grandparents in town was fantastic. They got to enjoy their granddaughter and mom and dad went out for a very nice dinner on Saturday night to celebrate their 3rd wedding anniversary. What a treat for everyone! Thanks Grandparents!

This weekend...
This was such a fun weekend! Let's start with tummy time on Friday:

And away...! Lift that head up high.

Friday night Mom and Dad tried to make Pot Stickers from a Rachel Ray recipe. It was a flop. The name says it all. They sure did stick to the pan. They didn't have any trouble putting them away, however. Here's the link to the recipe if anyone would like to try them and show us up.

Daddy changing my diaper at the lake.

Great Aunt Sandy. I didn't cry when she held me, but I did manage to spit up all over her fishing shirt. I love Great Aunt Sandy!

This is Uncle Ron using the fishing rod as a cat toy to play with Lucky the cat.

Me and Mom in the wild flowers

...and a Sunday afternoon nap in Mom's lap to end a fabulous weekend!
